Job Safety Analysis Template
In the EHS field, a job safety analysis (JSA) helps companies discover safety risks inherent to their existing processes. It involves review each of the steps within a job. For each step, you outline the control measures that you currently have and brainstorm improvements or new controls.
This template is for collecting the data you would need to categorize process hazards and classify the safety of a job. Performing JSAs regularly and documenting your findings this way can be a great way to determine whether your improvements are effective.
Once you complete a JSA, don’t forget to schedule and assign corrective actions. Without this step, a JSA is just another administrative task in the way of EHS performance.
