The number of OSHA recordable injuries and illnesses that resulted in Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred. Example: If you had 5 such cases in the past year, enter “5.”
The total hours worked by all employees during the given time period (e.g., monthly, annually). Example: For a team of 50 employees working 40 hours a week for 50 weeks, the total would be 100,000 hours.
The benchmark represents total hours worked, scaled for comparison purposes. OSHA’s default is 200,000 hours (100 employees working 40 hours/week for 50 weeks/year). You may enter a custom value based on your needs.
