Gemba Board Template

Each GEMBA walk should end with a review of the findings. Depending on the type of operation you have, your discussion topics may vary, but here are some common topics to cover:

• Quality
• Productivity
• Safety
• 5S

Once you’ve completed your walk, designate someone from the group to record both observations and suggestions for improvement. Then, turn those details into tangible actions that you can take to better your operation.

This gemba board template outlines all four of these topics with additional space to record any action items you come up with. You may also choose to add more information (EX. goals and metrics), but it isn’t a requirement of the gemba process. At the very least, make note of problems and come up with solutions that you can implement right away.
