Initial Hazard Review Checklist
Implementing a new process change means some sort of upstream or downstream effect. But the impact may not be obvious without sufficient planning and investigation. This initial hazard review checklist will help you determine whether a process modification has impacts that stretch beyond your standard operating procedures or designs.
You should use this checklist after you’ve created an initial plan but before you make any changes. As you go through the details of what changes you will make and how you will make them, this checklist provides the opportunity to reflect on their impact across the system.
Once you have filled out the checklist, review your answers and establish action items to improve your plans. If you do make any changes to the modification plan, make sure to run through this checklist one more time and ensure that no details are missed.
